WordPress (WP, WordPress.org) is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) written in PHP and paired with a MySQL or MariaDB database. Features include a plugin architecture and a template system, referred to within WordPress as Themes. WordPress was originally created as a blog-publishing system but has evolved to support other types of web content including more traditional mailing lists and forums, media galleries, membership sites, learning management systems (LMS) and online stores.
I have created my own website using word press.
Now, I will give you a brief introduction that will help you to create your page or website when you are using Word press.
1. Create your Word press account:
For creating a website or page all you need is first create your account at wordpress.com . Enter the required details .
Give the domain name and the description about your website.

2.Create your post:
Go at your home page and choose ‘Create a blog post’ from your menu.
Give it a suitable title .
Add block from the add block section. You can see heading, paragraph, quote blocks. Choose the required block according to your content.

3. Working with images:
Search for images in your block section. You will see variety of image blocks there. Select the suitable one and choose it from your gallery if you have already uploaded it otherwise first upload the images from your pc which you want to use there.

4. Working with videos:
Search for videos in your block section. You will see variety of blocks there. Select the suitable one from your gallery or even you can add your video url.
You can even add a social site video from Embeds part. Select the social site where the video is uploaded and you can paste the video link from there.

5. Create clickable links:
You can even create a clickable link by simply typing a text and adding a relevant link to it.

6. Create a form:
When you create a website some forms like contact, subscription, registration forms are required. You can search them and choose accordingly.

7. Create featured image:
You can create a featured image for your post by clicking on your page settings and you will find a featured image section , from there you can upload or select the image and you can add it.

8. Add widgets:
You can even add widgets to your page on the header and footer section. Go on your menu and choose the customize section from there . You will see widgets option there. Select it and select the part of the page where you want to locate your widgets . Add add choose the suitable widgets for your page.
